Get the Glow Baby Glow Product List...

Hey Guys,

Happy Monday, hope everyone had a great weekend.

So if you follow me on Instagram & Facebook, you will see a picture I posted up of me wearing the SOSU by Suzanne Jackson highlight palette. To say I'm in love is an understatement.

But Everyone has been asking me how I get my highlight to stand out so much and what foundation I have on.

So I decided to do a breakdown of what I have on mo face and what I use to apply each product.

So here is an extra large up close picture of my ugly mug hahaha...

  • Primer: MAC Strobe cream - applied with Blank Canvas F20 brush

  • Foundation: Urban Decay All nighter shade 4.0 mixed with Inglot HD in shade 77 to match my tanned body - applied with Charlotte Tilbury Magic Complexion brush.

  • Concelar: SOSU by Suzanne Jackson Palette Shade 1 under the eye, bridge of the nose, cupids bow and a lil on the forehead - used damp beauty blender to apply.

  • Setting highlighted areas: Laura Mercier secret brightening powder - applied with real techniques setting brush.

  • Contour: SOSU by Suzanne Jackson Contour palette Shade 2 used just slightly under the cheekbones, forehead and sides of the nose - blended out with MAC 188 small duo fibre brush. Also used Benefit Hoola bronzer to set the cream product.

  • Bronzer: To Bronze the Skin I use Shade 6 from the SOSU contour palette.

  • Blush: MAC Melba

  • To get that GLOW: I used my new holy grail product the SOSU by Suzanne Jackson Highlight Palette in shades Moon Sparkle & Unicorn Dust (those names tho) - applied with Zoeva 129 Luxe fan brush on cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupids bow.
NOTE: To get that amazing stand out glow, I spray MAC + all over my face and apply the highlighter  straight away, it makes the highlight stand out more intensely.

  • Brows: Love me some brows, I brush the brow out with a MAC 204 spoolie brush and I then go in with my Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Medium Brown with a MAC 266 small angle brush.

  • Eyes: All I have on my eyes here is Huda Beauty Coco shadow from the Textured Shadows palette all over the lid - applied with MAC 213 & blended out with Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer.

  • Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex on top & bottom lashes.

  • Lips: Outlined my lips with Urban Decay Lip liner in Weirdo, Urban Decay Lipstick in Criminal and Kylie Cosmetics Gloss in Damn Gina from the KoKo Collection.
Guys I know you probably would prefer a tutorial to see how I actually apply the products but I just don't have the guts to do a video. Some day maybe... haha

Until next my lovelies,

I've got the recipe and its called Black Magic!!!!

Hello my lovelies,

I know I'm on a role, a blog post a week haha I need to do better than this and up my game.

Every girl, well most girls favourite item Fake Tan I have a new one for you's. Who doesn't love to have that sun kissed bronzed skin, I envy those girls who have pale skin and can rock it, more power to you.

So I think everyone knows at this stage how much I love Bellamianta, it will always have a place on my tanning shelf, but so will this next beauty I'm going to tell you about... And its called black magic!!

Black Magic Tan is Australian made and comes in two base colours, Green base and Brown base mousse. Over the last five months I have been using the brown base mousse, it gives you that extra dark tan.

The tan is infused with anti ageing green tea extract, antioxidants and hydrating aloe vera, with these embedded in the tan it doesn't have that tan smell everyone hates, its smells healthy, I know that sounds ridiculous but it actually does.

It applies super dark to the skin and streak free which is what I love about this tan, nothing worse when your applying another layer of tan and it starts to streak, awh drives me bananas. It drys super quick and develops after two hours depending on how dark you want your tan.

A lot of people don't like to apply tan to their face, I do, I can't be dealing with a big white face and a tanned body, it doesn't look right. Black magic is fab on the face, your makeup sits comfortably on it and makes it look more flawless. It a good match to your foundation it doesn't have that orange look to it, its a proper dark brown natural glow.

Black Magic on Chest and face, makes your foundation look super flawless

Just applied to the skin
Again On chest and Face
Just look at that bronzed skin, makes you rock a plunge dress so much better
Super tanned legs makes me want to lounge in just a oversized hoodie.

I love it, you know me I always say it, if I don't like something I won't bother mentioning it. If I have no Bellamianta I reach for Black Magic and if I have no Back Magic I reach for Bellamianta. In any of my posts on Insta or Facebook its either of these amazing tans that am wearing.

Again tan only applies evenly and develops amazingly if you look after your skin and exfoliate and hydrate the skin the night before, black magic actually does an exfoliating bit which I love, I'm not going to lie it hurts a lil when using it on the skin but it leaves it super soft and clean and a perfect canvas for tan application.

Its an amazing brand and if you are looking for a new tan to try out give it a go and let me know what you think.

Head to their website, just click Here

Until next time...

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation... Hit or Miss???

Hey Lovely Ladies!!!

So Urban Decay are killing it lately with their products, over the last few months they have released some exciting new products one of been the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation.

I was a bit hesitant about trying out this foundation because I bought the Naked Skin Foundation and I hated it, lets just put it this way it was not for us oily skin girls. But I gave in and bought the All Nighter because I'm a sucker for packaging and the bottle for this foundation is amazing.

Anyway, This foundation claims to be Full Coverage, Long Wearing, Matter finish and completely waterproof. Sure with all those claims you hope your buying a bottle of magic and to be honest you kind of are.

Every time I use this product it shocks me, it has to be one of the most full coverage foundation's ever its nearly as full coverage as the Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer, It has a thick creamy consistency that blends like a dream, one pump of this goes a long way.

It also claims to be long wearing, I wore this for 15 hours straight and it looked exactly like it did when I first put it on if not better. Now I have oily skin and it did not go oily or patchy on the skin, for those of you who have dry skin, I'm not sure if this foundation is for you. But if you have a good skincare regime in place any foundation will work for you.

The "All Nighter"  is said to be a matte finish and yes it is totally matte, but I use a luminating primer underneath and it makes the foundation look like real skin. The claim of a matte foundation may make you think that it will be drying on your skin and its not at all. So dont let the "matte" scare you off.

There is 24 shades available, I'm in the shade 4.0 and I would be NC30 in MAC studio fix. One thing to take into account when you are purchasing this product, the foundation does oxidize. I new this before purchasing so I bought a colour that would suit me when it settled. How I decided which colour to get, I put a pump of the product on the back of my hand and I left it to dry for about five minutes, once it dried I new which shade matched my skin tone,

The Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation is a massive Hit with me, I love it, in saying that I wouldn't wear this on a day to day basis because it is so full coverage but on nights out its definitely my No.1.

Just a quick wee tip, when applying this foundation I use a thick buffer brush like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Brush or the Blank Canvas F20 or F22 or best tool to use is your fingers, no joke it will apply like a dream. I wouldnt use a damp beauty blender I find that it just doesnt work, it kind off just takes it off as you try to apply it. Not for me.

10/10 for me.

Until next time guys..

Top Skincare Products of 2016

Hey Guys,

So like I promised last week, here is my Top Skincare products of 2016.

Skincare is a vital part of everyone's beauty regime, if you don't have a skincare routine in place your skin is probably crying out for hydration among other things.

2016 for me with skincare was a massive hit, like the beauty products, I tried and tested so many beautiful products which I fell in love with and today are a must in my skincare routine.

So lets jump straight into it....

Kiehl's Purifying Foaming Cleanser:

This is a holy grail product for me, I'm totally obsessed with everything from this brand, with white Birch & Peony this cleanser helps restore hydration back to the skin and discoloration.  Your skin feels fresh and squeaky clean, I use this every night. One word to best describe this product is AMAZING,

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream :

Another fab product from Kiehl's , My go to night time moisturiser, This this really an intense hydration dream so it perfect for the winter months, the Glycoprotein which is found in this product is known to protect the skin from cold temperatures. I didn't think I would like this product as I have Oily skin but I love it and my skin has changed so much from using these two Kiehl's products.

Bobby Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base:

Enriched with Vitamin C, this is without doubt the best moisturiser to soak your face in, in the morning, It makes your skin feel awake which I love and its amazing underneath makeup, it kind of doubles up as a primer as I find my makeup lasts all day when I apply this before hand. Loooove It.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Pads:

I use these every night. Again they contain Glycolic acid which re-textures and resurfaces your skin, but they also contain a blue daisy extract which soothes and clams your skin. After using these pads my skin feels like its completely destressed , it feels relaxed and restored . They honestly are amazing

NIP + FAB Glycolic Cleansing Fix

I will be honest and say when I first started using it my skin broke out just a little but this was only because it gives your skin such a good deep clean it pulls the impurities out from deep within as the cleanser has glycolic acid in it which re textures and resurfaces your skin. I love using this cleanser in the morning as I feel like it really awakens your skin up and leaves you feeling as fresh as a daisy.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion:

This is one product that I honestly could not live without, its a life saver. The Drying Lotion is a fast acting, effective acne spot treatment and it does exactly what is says on the bottle. The product contains salicylic acid, calamine and other drying ingredients, Apply it to any breakout you have after your night time skincare routine and you see that ugly breakout shrink  virtually overnight. Its a miracle worker.

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado:

Hands down the best eye cream on the market, its a non greasy moisturising formula. Full of  natural ingredients it provides daily hydration to the eye area as soon as it is applied you can feel your under eye area soaking up the goodness. Just a little bit is needed and it goes a long way. Its such a beautiful product and another one that I couldn't live without.

Glamglow Supermud:

I love face masks and I have tried so many but I always seem to go back to the Glamglow Supermud, I love it and it leaves your skin looking amazing. I use it once a week and it tackles blemishes, redness, scars etc.. It will always be my fav and leaves my skin free from breakouts as it gives it a good deep pore clear out.

The Cleanse off Mitt:

I'm sure you have all heard about it by now, but if you haven't  where have you been hiding, The "Cleanse off Mitt" is a microfiber mitt designed to remove makeup without the need to use a cleanser all you have to do is simply add warm water and wipe clean. I hate using wipes on my skin, so I use this as night with my cleanser to remove and its amazing, it leaves your skin feeling so clean and refreshed and the best part about this product is, its an Irish product.  Love it. Ditch the wipes girls and invest in one of these babies there only €5.

So Guys, I will be bringing all these skincare products into 2017 with me and I cant imagine me replacing them with anything else. My skin is the best it has ever been due to these products and I'm super happy.

Until next time....

Top Beauty Products of 2016

Hi My Loves,

Happy New Year Guys, oh what a year it has been, especially for beauty products. I have tried and tested so many products, ranging from makeup, skincare, tanning, dental etc.. over the last twelve months and today I have picked out my top products of 2016 which I will definitely be bringing into 2017 with me.

I will do a separate blog on my most loved skincare products as I have some newbies I haven't mentioned before, that need serious praising.

So lets take a look at my Top Beauty Products of 2016.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation:

I love everything from Charlotte Tilbury but this year her Magic Foundation was one of my go to foundations. It is so light weight yet has such amazing coverage and blends so effortlessly and has great lasting power on the skin, this foundation I would say is a medium to full coverage and leaves an amazing dewy look to the skin.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concelar:

So much love this concelar  and there is such a great range of colors to suit every skin type. Without doubt the best concelar on the market, it's a full ass covrage concelar, but feels completely light and weightless on the skin, Believe me when I say it covers Eeeeeeverything. Love love love It.

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation:

Another Foundation Love for 2016, again this is a full ass coverage foundation, perfect for nights out as it stays in place all night. Not for those with dry skin, for those of you with oily skin, you will love this. (I will do a blog review on this beauty soon.)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade:

My go to brow product, I have tried other products which I like but I always go back to my fav. Glides through your brows like a dream and makes your brows look natural and full every time you use it.

Flormor Double Radiance Primer:

This has definitely replaced my beloved MAC strobe cream, it's so beautiful under foundation and on the skin alobe, it gives the most amazing glow to the skin. So Beautiful and so cheap, massive thumbs up for 2017.

Just look at that glow... so dreamy....

Kylie Lip Kits

Everybody and their granny knows how much I love these babies. They may b pricey and hard to get but girls they are definitely worth it 100%, your lips will be as pouty and juicy as Kylie's. I will definitely be purchasing more of these throughout 2017.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette:

The most loved palette of 2016, this palette is without doubt the most beautiful palette I have ever seen, loved by all bloggers and YouTube gurus, this palette offers you everything you want and the pigmentation is to die for. If you can go get it, you won't regret it. Just look at those colors

SOSU Contour Palette:

My most loved product of 2016, I have gone through 3 of these babies already and will continue to repurchase in 2017. For €30 and it's and Irish product what more could you want. A beautiful product from a gorgeous lady. If you haven't already, go get one, actually get two because you will definitely want to repurchase.

SOSU Lashes:

Another amazing product from Suzanne Jackson, these lashes are without doubt the best lashes I have tried in 2016. They are naturally fabulous and make your eyes look big and fluttery and can be worn more than once. At such a cheap price you won't get anything like these for the price anywhere.

Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder:

Love me some Laura Mercier, her Translucent setting powder was a must have in my makeup bag in 2016. Perfect light weight powder to set that under eye concealer and to bake those highlighted areas. An expensive product but its worth the money in my opinion and lasts a long time.

Bellamianta Tan:

Ooooooh my goodness, one of the most gorgeous fake tans on the market. This tan is so natural, it comes in both a lotion and a mousse and  I love both. But my ultimate fav is the spray tan, girl you look like you just came home from the Caribbean. Natural and beautiful and again an amazing Irish brand.

iWhite:

Again everybody knows how much Love I have for iWhite, I use both the trays and the tooth paste and they give your teeth the perfect white smile. Another massive YES for 2017.

2016 has been a super year for beauty products and I can only imagine what 2017 will have to offer. I will again be testing all things new to the market throughout the year so I will keep you guys posted.

Love Claire xxx
