Karazy about Kardashian Hair Care

Hi My Loves,
Ohh The Kardashians…..
Love them or hate them, you have to admit, they are damn good business women.
I’m not going to lie, I absolutely Love them. I follow all the Kardashian Ladies on all social media platforms, I watch the shows and for those who say “awwwh who watches that rubbish” we all know you secretly watch it when nobody's around lol.
Anyway…
When they first came out with their Hair products I was intrigued, like who doesn’t want hair like The Kardashians, it’s amazing. Yea I know they get it done professionally every day, but I would too if I had their money lol.
I love my hair and I’m all into looking after it, so I'm easily put off hair products that aren’t of a high quality. I use my Kerastase, Redken etc but I really was itching to try the Kardashian range out.
The packaging is so enticing the solid black bottle with the gold engraving, it's all about the detail, so elegant just like the girls.
Each of the hair products is formulated with black seed oil, the ancient healing oil is highly rich in fatty acids such as Omega 3 & 6 which has amazing benefits for your hair, it revitalises and fortifies the hair. It also includes other nourishing properties such as, antioxidants and vitamins which enhance the strength and overall health of your locks. What girl doesn't want hair products with these benefits eh.
Anyway I managed to get my hands on some of the products, which can be bought on www.cloud10.ie. So the products which I have are;
  • The Pure Glitz Hairspray
  • The Black Seed Dry Oil
  • Black Seed Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Black Seed oil Volume Foam

The Pure Glitz Hairspray:
Easily the best hairspray I have ever used, no joke. I hate hairspray that leaves your hair hard and greasy looking.  This doesn't do that at all, it leaves your hair soft yet still holding your style in place and doesn't leave it sticky like some hairsprays. It smells amazeballs.
The best thing about it, you're gonna think I’m crazy, but sometimes I use this as my setting spray for my makeup. It's the best damn setting spray I have ever used, and no it doesn't leave your face sticky, my makeup last all day and night whenever I use it.
The holy grail setting spray lol.
Black Seed Dry Oil:

When I hear the word oil or hair serum I hate it going near my hair, some of these products can again leave your hair looking like a greasy mess and you only after washing it.

I left it sitting on my shelf for ages, I just wasn't sure about it, but me being me I had to try it once. I pumped a lil bit into my hand and it was really oily and runny, I was like "ooooooh I dont no" lol. The smell of it was so beautiful and I ran it through my hair and rubbed it into the ends. After I blow dried I couldn't believe it, my hair was so soft and healthy. I could stop touching it, I loved the finish.

The Black Seed Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo & Conditioner:

Mmmmmm the smell, Your hair will smell absolutely delicious after using this, why do they all smell so damn good. Again your hair is left super soft, healthy and full. This is all because of the black seed oil it strengthens the hair and protects it.

I'm in love with this conditioner, I have such thick hair and it does be so knotty at times and it takes a really good conditioner for me to be able to get a brush through. This does it for me, the smallest amount goes a long way and the brush goes right through my hair.

K Body Volume Foam:

Again like the oil, I be afraid of these kind of products. I hate for my hair to look oily and fuzzy looking so I try to stay clear of these. But again after purchasing the products I felt like I kind need to try it once to see if I like it. The volume and lift it creates at the roots is the bomb. I applied it to damp hair and styled it and the body in my hair was ridiculous. Perfect hair product for styling your hair for a night out. Style it with the foam and set it with the hairspray and you're all set baby.

The Kardashians have really out done themselves in my opinion, these products are 100% ridiculously amazing. The black seed oil is so beneficial to how good these products are.

I will definitely be purchasing the other products from the hair care line, super excited to try out the rest.

Who knew black seed oil was so good for your hair. It's also said to be beneficial to the skin, helping conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, fungal infection and acne. Who knew eh?? I will definitely be looking out for skincare with black seed oil. If anyone has seen any please let me know.

Guys if you love your hair as much as me, try these babies out. I'm in Love. Again they can be bought on www.cloud10.ie

Love you guys

iLove my iWhite smile

Hi My Loves,

Ok so if you follow me on Snapchat, Facebook or Instagram you probably know that I started using iWhite last week.

In the past I have used the Crest teeth whitening strips but to be honest they would kinda hurt my teeth after I used them leaving my teeth so sensitive. So unfortunately I had to stop using them and hadn't actually used anything like them since.

But I kept seeing iWhite popping up all over the place and I heard so many good things online so I had to try it. I would drink a lot, and when I say drink a lot, I mean I drink a lot of tea (Irish much lol) and I feel like it stains my teeth a little and awwwwwh it makes me so mad. So that's why I purchased it.

I ordered the iWhite prefilled trays and the toothpaste. The prefilled tray comes with 10 in a pack, and you can use the trays on your top and bottom teeth. You can use them for 5 days straight and when ever you feel like your teeth need an instant whitening, let me tell you, you definitely get instant whitening from these. Honestly I wouldn't believe it only for I seen the results on my own teeth.

So on the Friday night I was having my usual pamper Friday, every girl needs one. I had my bath, relaxed, done my skincare routine and my tan. Then I decided to use the iWhite, I couldn't wait. So before you use the prefilled trays, you go in with the iWhite toothpaste and brush your teeth gently, then you make sure you have clean hands and open the trays and place one on your bottom and top teeth and closed gently, don't bit down hard as it can make the gel slip out of the trays. Leave them in for 20 minutes. once your 20 minutes is up take them out and rinse the residue off  you teeth. I do this by just running my tooth brush over them and rinsing with water.

The iWhite tray claim to do the following:
  • Clinically proven INSTANT whitening results
  • Fast: up to 8 shades whiter in only 20 minutes a day
  • Active stain remover
  • STRENGTHENS the teeth
  • Easy: one step system, prefilled, no mixing
  • Comfortable soft transparent trays for a custom fit teeth whitening, one-size-fits-all
  • Whitens the front and the back of the teeth
  • Clinically proven SAFE and EFFECTIVE

I 100% agree with every last point above because I couldn't believe the difference in my teeth after one go it was amazing no joke, I couldn't stop smiling. the next day I was heading out, I decided to use them again. Awwwh I couldn't stop laughing after I used it because I was in total shock. To make things even better again they didn't leave my teeth feeling sensitive, which was a big plus for me.

Guys, if you go through any of my pictures on Instagram you will see that I never smile in pictures, I was just never confident in my smile. I always felt insecure about my teeth. But after I used the iWhite I couldn't stop smiling. I was a different person.

Now I use the toothpaste daily and I used the Trays for 5 days straight, you can do this or just use the trays when you feel like it. But I decided to use them all in one go to see the difference and to be honest I seen the difference after one use.

Unfortunately I've used all mine up, which makes me sad, but I'll definitely be repurchase them in the next few days as I've a few events and a wedding coming up so I'll need the instant whiteness for my new smile, its like an addiction.

Its safe to say I am in love with this product.

If your Interested in purchasing the product, like I said I use the prefilled trays and the toothpaste and you can get them here www.iwhite.ie.

The prefilled trays are €29.99
The Toothpaste is €9.50

The trays are pricey but in my opinion they are worth it.

I hope you guys found this helpful and if you are going to try them out let me know how you get on.

My Top Foundations for Dry Skin

Hey My Loves,

So as promised I'm here with my top foundations for dry skin . So if you read my last blog post on my top foundations for oily skin, you will know I personally have oily skin, but I have tried plenty of foundations which is specifically targeted towards those who has dry skin. Why did I try them, because I am a sucker for foundations and when I see a new one come out I just buy it. haha and that's why I'm always broke.

Again like said before I am not a trained Makeup artist I am self taught so this is just my opinion.

So foundations which you dry girls need to stay clear of is matte foundations, like Estee Lauder Double wear, these kind if foundations will just make you look cakey and dry.

So my top picks are:

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk

This is a beautiful foundation, as the name suggests it is luminous  which is why when I tried it, it would not stay on my skin what so ever.
For those with dry skin, the finish of this foundation isn't totally shinny its somewhere between shiny and matte. The coverage is sheer to medium and it does leave your skin looking amazing, by giving it a beautiful dewy finish, it a perfect foundation for you guys.

I'm in shade 6.5
Can b bought at www.brownthomas.com
Price €43

M.A.C Face and Body:

One of MAC's most loved foundations. its a water based foundation so its ideal for dry skin. The finish is dewy and leaves the skin looking perfect. It is a sheer to medium coverage but, it can if you work with it, be built up to a full coverage foundation.
A tip with this foundation, its very runny nearly like water, so if you take a bit of the foundation and rub it between your hands for about 8 - 10 seconds you will see the foundation start to thicken then start to apply it to the skin with your fingers or a very stiff brush.

I'm in shade C3 (NC30 - NC35)
Can be bought here www.brownthomas.com
Price €31.50

Diorskin Star
This is an incredible light weight foundation with a radiant finish it has an amazing brightening effect on the skin. The coverage is light to medium coverage and makes your skin still look and feel like skin but at the same time covers blemishes and imperfections. It really is a beautiful foundation.

I'm in shade 023
Can be bought here www.brownthomas.com
Price €49.50

Nars Sheer Glow

Nars foundations are amazing and Sheer glow is one of their most loved products. Like MAC face & body this foundation is water based, so its quite runny, but its a good thing because it means a little bit of this foundation goes a long way. The finish to this foundation, it is said to be a light to medium coverage but it can be built to a full coverage foundation. Nars sheer glow doesn't leave a dewy finish, it does exactly what it says in the name, it makes the skin glow. Its beautiful.

I'm in shade Punjab
Can be bought here www.brownthomas.com or www.narscosmetics.com
Price €41

Guys like I said in my last blog post for a foundation to work on your skin it all rely's on your skincare routine. Everyone needs to have a good skincare routine in order to look after your skin. Once you have that in place you will have no problem finding foundations to match your skin type.

I hope this helped any of you who suffer from dry skin and if you want any further help on primers or skincare products leave a comment below.

My Top Foundations for Oily Skin

Oily Skin

Hi My Loves,

Are you like me and suffer from the dreaded Oily skin and you just don't no what foundation to go for because every one you put on your skin melts off. Well I'm going to try and help you out.

So over the last week or two I have been getting so many messages asking what the best foundation is for both oily and dry skin. So I decided that the best way to answer everyone was to do a blog post. I am going to split it in two, so today will be us oily girls and Friday or Saturday we will focus on the dry skin.

Ok so let me just say one thing, I am not a qualified makeup artist I just love makeup and I am self-taught. Also in order for any foundation to agree with your skin, you have to have a good skin care routine. That is very important. As well as a good primer.

If you would like me to do a blog post on skincare or primers for oily & dry skin leave a comment below?

Ok oily girls, let’s get to it. So yea I suffer from oily skin and it took me years to find foundations that suited my skin type but still, to this day, I buy foundations that just look like someone poured a bottle of Crisp 'n Dry on my skin lol.

I have five top foundations which I believe from my own experience sit well on a bed of oil.

No.1. M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid

This will always be my 'go to' foundation and will always have a place in my makeup collection. It's amazing and I love everything about.
Now is saying that I do know some people that this foundation breaks their skin out but I never had this problem.
The foundation claims to be oil controlling and medium to build able coverage` and I fully agree. Believe me a small amount goes a very long way and it covers a multitude. I used this for years until I decided to experiment with others. If you use M.A.C Studio fix powder to set it, it’s perfect.

I’m in shade NC30
You can buy online here www.brownthomas.com
Price €31.50

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation:

This really can be described only in one word and it’s in the name, MAGIC. It’s a beautiful foundation. It’s a medium to buildable coverage and dry’s to a semi matte finish. The best thing about this foundation is that after you apply it, your skin still looks like skin and it doesn’t break down or settle into fine lines, which with oily skin is a major problem. This foundation claims to be for all skin types and in my opinion it’s perfect for us oily girls. I have been wearing it now for over 4 months and it’s MAGIC.

I’m in shade no.7
You can buy here www.brownthomas.com
Price €40

Inglot HD Foundation:

This has become my 'go to' foundation for nights out and special events. Suitable for sensitive skin, Inglot HD foundation is full coverage, hypoallergenic and provides long lasting coverage and conceals discolouration and imperfections.
Again I only use it as my nights out and for special events as it is quite heavy but it’s flawless on your skin.
It can still leave a dewy look to the skin, which is lovely but not if you suffer from oil. So I set it with the Laura Mercier translucent powder and I can get up to 8 hours wear until I have to powder again.
I love this foundation; I would definitely recommend it for your makeup bag if you love full coverage for nights out or if you just love full coverage.

I’m in Shade 77
Can be bought here www.inglotireland.ie
Price €33

Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer:

Holy Moly this is without doubt the most full coverage foundation I have ever used or even seen. For those of you that know this foundation will know that it’s such a tiny lil pot of wonder, the tiniest amount will go so far its ridiculous.
To be honest when I bought it I didn’t think it would last on my skin, because it claims to provide dewy skin but at the same time is suitable for all skin types.
I got my makeup done in Mise Beauty in Dundalk and they used this on me and it lasted me all day, I didn’t have to touch up once. I was shocked.
So of course I bought it. It offers sheer coverage also if you mix it with your moisturiser which is also gorgeous and can be used as a concelar. It’s such a multi task product but it is an expensive wee thing.

I’m in shade No.SX08
Can be bought here www.beautybay.com or Mise Beauty Dundalk
Price €42 - €43

Estee Lauder Double Wear:

This is one of the best foundations for a matte finish that doesn’t move, it holds up for hours on the skin; you can nearly go the whole day without powdering you face.
The foundation is oil and shine free and leaves your skin looking amazing. It claims to be a medium coverage but in my opinion it’s a full coverage foundation.  The only thing with this foundation is it dry’s very quick, so you need to work with it quickly. This in my opinion is a 'go to' foundation for oily skin.

I’m in shade Tawny.
Can be bought here www.brownthomas.com
Price €38

Your probably thinking to yourself, awh here this one thinks were made of money with the high end foundations. I will be honest, I don't think "drug store" foundations are any good for oily skin. If you want a foundation that is going to work your going to spend over the €30 mark for it. Now maybe that's just me and they didn't do anything for my skin but they might for yours. But I'm not going to tell you to go buy a cheap foundation just because its cheap, at the end of they day your going to pay for a good foundation.

Guys again, in order for any foundation to work correctly on your skin, you really do need a proper skin care routine. Please remember that if you’re trying a foundation out and it’s not happening for you.

I hope this helps my lovely’s.

So Contour Me

Hi My Loves,

Sosu contour palette, the most sought after beauty product in Ireland.

I got loads of questions asking if this product is worth the hype, in my opinion girls and boys it’s A…MA…ZING.

So everyone and their granny knows who Sosueme is aka Suzanne Jackson. One of Ireland's most beloved beauty bloggers and amazing business woman who also inspired me to begin my own blog.

When I heard she was bringing out a contour palette I was intrigued because we all love a bit of contouring, to shape the face, and a bit of Sosueme which is a perfect combination.

I knew I had to get one, but like the Kylie lipkits it’s impossible. But on my beloved Instagram one evening I saw the beaut Stephanie, girl you know who you are, had just bought one in a local chemist.  Walk, swim or fly I was getting my hands on one.

So after my long swim to the chemist lol I managed to get one, needless to say I was a happy lil girl coming out. But I’m raging now that I didn’t get two......or three lol.

Heading to Dublin that night I couldn’t wait to put my face on and all my girls know there's nothing like getting new goodies to play with.

I used nearly every shade in the palette.

The Shade 1:  I used to highlight my under eyes, bridge of my nose and forehead, beautiful coverage. I used a flat concealer brush to place it and blended it out with a damp beauty blender.

Shade 2:  I used to contour its beautiful and so easy to blend. I used a Zoeva Concealer buffer brush to place it and blended it with a large duo fiber brush. It blended beautifully.

Shade 3: Used to set where I placed the concealer. Very similar to the Ben Nye banana Powder.

Shade 4: After seeing Chloe Boucher using shade 4 as her foundation, I had to try it. Girls if you’re between MAC shades NC30 to NC35 it will be a perfect shade for you. My foundation was flawless and full coverage. I used a flat foundation brush to place it all over my skin, blended it in with a Zoeva round top buffer brush and went over it again with my damp beauty blender. Flawless guys, flawless.

Shade 5: Which is the highlight shade is so lovely. I use it as a base and I put the powder highlight on top. One word, gorgeous... Your highlight will be on fleek girls.

It was selfie central that night; my makeup was flawless due to the consistency and pigment of this product. Below is my before and after pic.

I have the Anastasia cream contour palette and to be honest the Sosu creams blend so much better and are way easier to work with, they are so creamy and just glide onto the skin.

I love everything about this product, the packaging, the pigmentation, the coverage. It’s amazing.

Suzanne or Sosu you should be so proud of this product because it's without doubt the best cream contour product I have used, it's somazing lol.

Guys if any of you spot this is a local chemist snatch one up, you will not regret it. Oh and if you do see them please let me know because I’m running low and need another one.
